Rất tiếc là mình ko có thời gian dịch từ anh sang việt về những bài viết như thế này. Những bài trao đổi dạng này ko phải ai cũng có mà đọc được. Mình phải lấy trên 1 diễn đàn khá chuyên sâu về công nghệ mà diễn đàn này chỉ có những thành viên cũ trao đổi với nhau thôi chứ ko cho phép tạo thành viên mới nữa. Tuy nhiên mình ko nghĩ dịch là 1 cách làm hay.

Bài này thông báo về việc M$ sẽ tiếp tục bảo vệ phần mềm Office 2007 bằng tính năng Office Genuine Advantage (Giống như Windows XP đã làm) mặc dù tính năng này chả khó để có thể bẻ gãy.

Tuy nhiên qua đây mình cũng ko khuyến khích các bạn cài bộ Office 2007 nữa vì có thể bạn sẽ gặp rủi ro cho các tài liệu dạng Excel của bạn, của doanh nghiệp bạn (mặc dù ngay sau khi ra đời có 1 tuần thi MS Office 2007 Ent. đã có trên thị trường chợ đen)

Buried in a Knowledge Base article that Microsoft published to the Web on November 14 are details of Microsoft’s plans to combat Office 2007 piracy via new Office Genuine Advantage lockdowns.

When asked last month whether Microsoft was planning to punish alleged Office 2007 pirates by crippling the functionality of their software in the same way that Microsoft is doing with Vista via reduced-functionality mode, Microsoft officials were noncommittal.

But now Microsoft’s intentions are clear: Just as it is doing with Vista, Microsoft plans to incorporate what basically amounts to a “kill switch” into Office 2007. Office 2007 users who can’t or won’t pass activation muster within a set time period will be moved into “reduced-functionality mode,” according to Microsoft’s Knowledge Base article.

2. That is one of the reason not do deploy Vista or Office 2007 in the companies of our customers.

It's a joke, to setting up a "activation" aka "licensing server" only for the m$ products.

Who will pay this? Our customers will ask us, if we like to kidding them...

To DRM, activations and all this sh*t: Stay at home and die...

Users in business like work cost efficient and not with a "hubba bubba chewing gum ui".
